A landing page is not a smaller website. It is a single page with a single job, and everything on it either helps that job or gets deleted. That discipline is what separates a page that converts at eight per cent from one that converts at one.
The structure, in order
1. A headline that names the outcome
Not 'Welcome to our company'. Something specific: 'Balcony safety nets installed across Hyderabad in 48 hours'. The visitor should know within two seconds that they are in the right place.
2. A subheading that removes the first objection
Usually price, time or trust. 'Fixed pricing, no site visit charge, 3-year warranty' does more work than a paragraph of company history.
3. The form or call button, immediately
Above the fold on mobile. Four or five fields maximum. Every field you add reduces submissions measurably — ask for what you need to quote, and nothing else.
4. Three to four benefits, written as outcomes
'Same-day installation' beats 'we value punctuality'. Concrete, checkable claims only.
5. Proof
Reviews with real names, a photo of actual work, client logos, or a count of completed projects. This is where most Indian service pages are weakest and where the easiest gains sit.
6. Process
Three or four steps from enquiry to delivery. It answers 'what happens if I fill this in?' — the unspoken question that stops people submitting.
7. Pricing or a range
Even a starting price. Pages that avoid the subject entirely attract tyre-kickers and repel serious buyers.
8. FAQs
Handle the five objections your sales team hears every day. This helps conversion and, marked up with schema, helps search visibility too.
9. A final call to action
The visitor who scrolled to the bottom is your warmest lead. Do not make them scroll back up.
Things that quietly kill conversion
A full navigation menu offering ten escape routes. Sliders nobody clicks. Stock photography of foreign offices. Forms that demand an email when your customers only use phone numbers. Pages that take five seconds to load on 4G.
Match the page to the traffic
If your Google Ad says 'invisible grills in Gachibowli', the page must say Gachibowli. Message match lifts both conversion rate and Quality Score, which lowers your cost per click at the same time.
